As well as the hosts- everyone who attends is amazing at providing support to fellow parents; we have many funny, serious and repetitive discussions about life, children, relationships, poo, fights, bonds, prams, bottles, schools- you name it, we talk about it! Multiple Birth Awareness Week is a special week each year to recognise and celebrate multiple birth families. Each year the Tasmanian Multiple Birth Association hosts a BBQ Brunch for families to close the week. This year we are celebrating on Sunday 23rd March, Tolosa Street Park (Hut 13) arrival after 10.45am (Park opens at 10.30am). Join us for BBQ (we will have vegetarian options as well as meat) and some fun park games. This event is open to all multiple birth families (members and non-members). RSVP is required- select a family ticket then enter individual details

Northern multiple families join us to help celebrate Multiple Birth Awareness Week! Come along to Heritage Forest, Invermay on Sunday 23rd March 10am-12pm.  Morning tea will be provided but if you have any specific dietary requirements, we suggest bring along your own food. Expecting twins, triplets or more? Join Rachel and Megan from TasMBA as they shares insights, tips and experience into welcoming multiples into the world. You’ll have a wonderful opportunity to meet other expecting multiple birth parents who may become friends and support people as you navigate this unique experience. You’ll have lots of opportunities to ask questions, share your feelings and thoughts around expecting multiples and take away some great information! This is a free session for all expecting parents, support people and siblings! Tasmanian Multiple Birth Association is proud to host a twilight market at the Old Beach Community Hall on Sunday 16th March. This coincides with Multiple Birth Awareness Week for 2025 where we work to raise awareness around the joys and challenges of having twin, triplets or more.. Stall holders include 3D printed goods, pre-loved clothing (predominately womens and children/baby clothing), kids toys, and many more.. We will also enjoy our partners Ready Steady Go Kids who will have activities for children as well as Baby Sensory to entertain the littlest people. The BBQ will be sizzling with all proceeds going to TasMBA plus other Food and drink vans also on site to keep your tummies happy! We can't wait to see you!

As a farewell to summer, join us at Simmons Park in Lindisfarne for a twilight dinner in the park.  This is a free event for members or $5/family for non-member families. Please list any dietary requirements in your ticket. Membership is annual amount of up to $35 so please consider joining to access all of the free inclusions and benefits.

Are your multiples starting school for the first time this year, or maybe they are heading off to high school (how did that happen?) or you may be homeschooling.  If you have school-aged multiples (of any age), we’d like to invite you to a catch-up at the Royal Hobart Botanical Gardens. Please drop in at whatever time is convenient to you on the day.  We’ll provide light snacks and a space to share all ‘the feels’ when it comes to schooling multiples.  Where to find us: on the right lawn as you enter the main entrance.  We look forward to seeing you there! Join us at our most popular event of the year - our multiple Christmas party!  Where you will enjoy a fun filled day at PCYC Bridgewater from 2-4pm pm for gym play, face painting, snacks and catching up on Saturday 23 November.   All multiple families are welcome from around the State - expectant families, siblings, support people and new families. $15 per family for non-members and FREE for members!  Please RSVP with one ticket per family below (you'll be asked to list each member) and answer the questions regarding food intolerances so we can appropriately cater. We can't wait to celebrate with you!
