There is a safe area for young babies to play or relax, with plenty of space for double pram parking! All children (from crawlers to runners) will enjoy exploring in a challenging yet safe indoor/outdoor space, including home corner, sandpit, indoor treehouse, bike track, swings and much more! There are quiet spaces where bubs can sleep while Mum/Dad have a cuppa and take some time for themselves. Our hosts and the other parents are on hand to help with babies at the drop of a hat. Please join us on Saturday February 3rd for an information session for expectant and new multiples families! These sessions give an opportunity for expectant and new parents to receive practical information from other parents with multiples about things such as pregnancy, birth, and where to from there. You'll have the opportunity to tap into the wealth of knowledge our multiple parents have, as well as being able to meet other expectant and new multiples families, and begin to develop important support networks and friendships. -Saturday Februrary 3rd 2024 -10am-12pm -Rosny Library 46 Bligh Street, Rosny Park -We encourage you to bring your partner or support person. Join us to celebrate your multiples who are starting school this year. Media will be there on the day, but if you don't want your children featured in the media it's completely optional. What's happening? Who: Calling all multiples starting school/kinder this year!!!! What: Please join us for a media opportunity and celebration at Legacy Park Community Hub, Playground in Queens Domain. Date: Thursday 1st February Time: 9:30am – 12noon (we anticipate media will join us at 10am, so if you'd like to be in the photo, please aim to arrive prior) Location: Legacy Park Community Hub, Playground in Queens Domain. Please dress your multiples in school uniform (if they have one). We will provide some snacks to keep the energy up and the playground provides a wonderful space for a play! Join us to celebrate the holiday season and our wonderful community! We will enjoy the fun space at Swanston St Children's Centre in New Town from 12-2pm for lunch, face painting, play and catching up. We hear that Santa's elves have organised for him to drop by to help us celebrate. Additionally, we have a photographer joining us on the day to capture all the fun! The centre has wonderful play equipment, sand pit and great grassy areas to pop out a picnic rug in the sun or shade. To ensure our little ones are thoroughly spoilt and celebrated as they should be, we ask that you bring a gift wrapped book per child in your family (this can be pre-loved, purchased second hand or new) and place it in the boxes provided. There will be two age groups, Under 6 and Over 6. We will ask each child to choose a wrapped book as their Christmas gift from this wonderful community. You're welcome to wrap and add more than one per child if you wish, any leftover gifts will be donated.  All welcome - expectant families, siblings, support people and new families!! Please note that the centre has a narrow entrance for double (side by side) prams, so if you know your pram is extra wide, please consider another mode of transport. Please RSVP with one ticket per family (you'll be asked to list each member) and answer the questions regarding food intolerances so we can appropriately cater. We can't wait to celebrate with you!
