You’ll have a wonderful opportunity to meet other expecting multiple birth parents who may become friends and support people as you navigate this unique experience. As we start to come into some warmer weather in the spring, what better time to think about toilet training?! Join Monica Ferrie from Toilet Training Educators who will teach you how to create the perfect environment for your children to learn this new skill and what tools you need to make this happen. We will learn and develop skills that provide a solid foundation for evidence based toilet 'training' - it's a skill that must be learned, like eating or walking. The session will cover: • the research about toilet training including optimal time to start • toilet training as a normal skill development process • how to go about the process of toilet training • what problems might be encountered along the way and dealing with them • the difference between a toilet training issue and a continence problem • continence issues including day wetting, constipation and soiling • night wetting or bedwetting. About Monica Ferrie: Monica’s expertise lies in creating environments where people can perform at their best and ensuring they have the skills and tools to make that happen. There are quiet spaces where bubs can sleep while Mum/Dad/Support People have a cuppa and take some time for themselves.
